Well, today's the day - Sharky's doctor appointment with the "specialist." Sharky has been in so much pain and the meds prescribed aren't doing much to help anymore. Sad, he can't take them and drive or work because they make him very loopy but they don't kill the pain. *sigh*

Are we going to have to wait a long time for surgery like we did last time? I hope not. Last time, there was a doctor vs. insurance companies strike thing going on, that's why they said in spring that he had to have surgery but it did not get scheduled until end of July. *fingers crossed* I hope that doesn't happen this time around. We've got the holidays coming up - Hallowe'en, Bear's birthday, my birthday, Thanksgiving, Sharky's birthday, Yule, etc.

What about pay? Will he lose pay because he doesn't have enough time saved up? That is scary in itself.

See? Here I go again, working myself up into a tizzy and the poor man hasn't even seen the doc yet.

Well, this morning, after all the kiddies get to school, I have to run down to OP and pick up the MRI films.

I drove Bug to the shuttle this a.m. and it was very weird out. Some of the traffic lights weren't working, there were busses I have never seen before travelling in odd directions, there were cars whipping u-turns in front of LHS, and it was dark dark dark out and kinda drizzly too. We're far enough away from Hurricane Rita to not worry and any storms we might have had from her are past, but still... Very strange.
