Well, that was a major pain in the patoot. It's raining and, of course, the other drivers were acting like maniacs, so I drove carefully and took my time getting to the imaging center in OP.
When I finally found the place (it was hidden lol) and went in, there was a sign pointing patients to one sign-in clipboard and people picking up medical records to another. The lady behind the counter told me that it could take anywhere from 10 minutes to over an hour, depending upon how busy the record fetcher was.
When it was finally my turn after 30 minutes, I was informed that my husband had not given permission for me to pick them up (even though the woman on the phone on Tuesday told him I didn't need permission). So, I had to call Sharky and have him fax a letter over saying that I had permission. Well, he went ballistic and threw a fit. He was so frustrated and upset that for a few seconds, I thought he was going to have a stroke. :-( Ten minutes after the record-fetcher got the fax, I had the records and was out of there.
Traffic back home was just as bad. On Blanding Blvd., I hit two hidden pot holes so hard that if I had fillings in my teeth, they would have been knocked out. I don't see any damage to my car but I'm sure it messed up the alignment.
