Sharky called his mom last night. It was a short, sweet and non-argumentative phone call. *sigh of relief* Now, just to remember to do that every couple of weeks and we'll be fine. *wink*

It's raining here today, rain from Hurricane Rita which is down southwest, past the Keys. Amazing, isn't it, how one storm can effect such a large area? I'm not complaining, ironically, we need the rain.

Today is "early out Wednesday" which means school ends two hours earlier than normal. It occurs every two weeks and I have had to add it to my calendar alerts so I do not forget (like last time!) and get a nasty call from the school asking if anyone was going to bother picking my daughter up. Talk about feeling like a failure!
I've got to run to the post office this morning, to drop off a package for Sharky. He donated a trapeze off his donor truck for an auction to help fund his fave truck forum. Seems like the guy who runs it pays for the forum completely out of his pocket, so the other guys like to donate parts once in a while for a "charity auction" to help the owner out. Pretty cool.

The MRI place says they need a 24 hour notice to get the films ready (and Sharky's doc's office said they didn't *rolls eyes*) so I cannot pick them up today. I will pick them up tomorrow morning instead and then either drive them other to Sharky's workplace or he'll swing by here and pick them up before the appointment. We'll probably decide that tonight - based on weather, gas, money, etc.

BTW, shock time. I forgot that our insurance costs were raised. It's $20, instead of $15, for a regular doctor office visit, and now $50 instead of $35 for a visit with a specialist. Yep, Dr. G is a specialist. Fifty bucks a pop. *sigh* Well, last surgery, we didn't have to pay for anything out of pocket and I've got my fingers crossed that we don't have to this time as well. *double sigh*
