It was a twister!

Not around here though. As soon as AMC started yesterday at 1:00 p.m., Tim Deegan and Steve Smith from First Coast News (Channel 12) broke in with their gigantic radar and monopolized the afternoon until 4:00 p.m., regaling us with second by second warnings of the horrific storm headed our way. One tornado was reported wwwaaayyy out west of here, one wwwaaayyy north of here, and someone else far away found a couple of pieces of dime-size hail in their yard. Basically much ado about nuttin. Oh, and yes, I was peeved that I missed my AMC but was calmed down by Tim & Steve's apologies "We're saving lives here people!" That made me feel so much better. *rolls eyes*

No school today but it feels like a Saturday. Ick. Sharky's at work and the boys are sleeping in. Petunia got up early and is playing on WoW, knowing the boys will take over the computers once they wake up. *sigh* Tomorrow will be the same, since Sharky has to work. Wanted to go to the zoo on Sunday but we have to ration gas until payday.

My knee has popped a few more times since the "big pop" but luckily it was just uncomfortable and not painful.
