WG? Hit# 789, York PA
Sharky has to work today, so its another day of me being stuck home alone with ungrateful, hateful children who only give a flying fig about the godddamn computer.
Watched the Hope for Haiti telethon last night. Really had some awesome performances. The best was the duet between Dave Matthews and Neil Young ("Alone and Forsaken"?). I am not a big Young fan, but the two harmonized wonderfully and the song was very beautiful. Justin Timberlake and Matt Morris sang a wonderful version of "Hallelujah" and Shakira was fab singing "Stand By Me". I don't think you can purchase just one song, only the "album", but since iTunes refuses to recognize Linux, I'll have to attempt to check it out on the Windows side later on. *rolls eyes*
About Oranges
by Marian Olson
Take an orange, for instance.
It doesn't snap or bite
like a petulant lover
denied audience
once an affair is over.
I mean, all the stink
and mess of breaking apart,
so unlike an orange.
When you are done with it,
the sweetness lingers.
