Friday the 13th...
"Right from the moment of our birth, we are under the care and kindness of our parents, and then later on in our life when we are oppressed by sickness and become old, we are again dependent on the kindness of others. Since at the beginning and end of our lives we are so dependent on other´s kindness, how can it be in the middle that we would neglect kindness towards others?"

It's the 3rd Friday the 13th we've had this year, the most one can have. Been a rather calm day today, hopefully it will stay calm tonight as well.
Sharky went to bed around 8:00 p.m. last night and slept hard all night long. Got tired of fighting for bed space after a while (he slept "spread eagle") and just curled up in a small space on the edge of the mattress. Just too hard to wake him up and move him. LOL
Found that quote above by the Dalai Lama. Very fitting to how I feel right now. My father has resumed his hate spam campaign and I'm just so sick of it. He won't even respond to my questions so why does he even bother to email that crap? My father, who was an illegal alien for so many years, is vehemently anti-illegal aliens now along with anti-Democrat, anti-Obama, anti-charity, anti-anything kind and compassionate. The only positive stuff he sends is so full of Christian hate it's hard to classify it as positive - if you aren't a rabid, fanatical Christian, then you're an evil abomination that needs to die. OMG, this is my FATHER. The man who biologically sired me. Why is always the ones you are supposed to love the ones who wound the most???
