Took Sharky to work this morning, traffic was a breeze - probably because it was early and it is a holiday weekend. Of course, that also meant that gas prices went up again. (Coincidence? I think not.)
Bug is whipping up fried egg sandwiches for everyone before we leave to meet C on our big adventure. The kids are so excited! I admit, I am excited as well. I've got my camera and I plan on taking some pictures. (I love photography, wish I had started younger than I did. But that is another dream gone. *sigh*)
Sharky came home early from work yesterday, his head was hurting him so bad that he actually had to take a pain pill. *sigh* I hate headaches. The firewall cover arrived. Sharky was very thrilled with it and cannot wait for this weekend to install it. Of course, when he carried the box out to the garage he discovered a wasp trying to make a nest in his truck. Really ticked him off. We've got a bad mosquito problem outside as well, but there is not much we can do about that - we don't have any standing water in our yard and we cannot do anything if a neighbour does.
I'm back, the fried egg sandwich was delicious. Bug sure knows how to fry an egg. LOL That should hold us over until lunchtime.
