Wednesday

We de-Yuled the house last night. Petunia and I packed away the ornaments and Sharky took down the outside lights. Sadly, due to the wind storm, the spiral light tree on the porch was broken beyond repair. :-(

Thank goodness, Petunia did not have Robotics club after school yesterday. DW called and needed a ride to the rental car place, so I picked Petunia up from school and we drove him there. The wind was still very strong and on the way home, I could feel it pushing the car as we drove over the Acosta Bridge.

Stopped at Publix to pick up RX and I was very pleased to see how cheaper my stuff is since I reupped my insurance. The actual monthly cost went up $8 but I save almost 3x that amount on my monthly RX copay. We also picked up some fried chicken there because I thought that packing the holiday stuff away would take a lot longer than it did. We were completely done long before Sharky got home.  Already had a bagged salad, so dinner just took minutes to repair.

Going to remove the lights and pack the tree this evening. Today is the 6th so we're right on schedule. LOL I told Sharky this morning that even though the tree is on its last legs, I don't want to get rid of it until we have a brand new one in hand, just in case.
