Day 7: If You Struggle with Being Seen
Day 7: If You Struggle with Being Seen
“Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day whispering, 'I will try again tomorrow.'”
― Mary Anne Radmacher
I’ve been quietly courageous…When I force myself to be public by going to things where I know I won't know anyone or barely know only a few. I don't believe that most people truly know how much of an act of courage that is, for me to socialize.
I see quiet courage in action…When I see someone with an obvious disability going about their lives as normal. Just the act of being normal when one "isn't" is courageous to me, knowing how much turmoil is going on inside my head.
I’ve learned about trying again tomorrow… By doing. Every time I've tried something, it has been a good experience (so far) and it encourages me to do it again and to repeat the success.
Courage is whispering to me right now… Shut up and make something.
