Tuesday

Mr DW picked up Petunia at 9 and they went to paint his fence. They worked until 11 and then it just got too hot, so they stopped for the day. He's coming back this morning to pick her up again.

I was reading a book and had dozed off when she got home. I guess I was deep asleep just enough for her to scare the living crap out of me when she came in the front door. (Ironically, I was dreaming that I was stepping out the front door to check on the mail.) My heart wouldn't stop wildly beating for almost an hour.

After she got home and rested, we had lunch and then worked on straightening up the living room for a bit. I let her have a nap (the morning took a lot out of her) and then Sharky got home. Cooked some hamburgers on the stove top and made a tiny potato salad. (When I baked potatoes on Sunday, I doubled the amount - 6 instead of 3 - and used the "leftovers" for dinner last night. Saves on electricity.)

Took some pork chops out last night to thaw for dinner tonight.

Going to have Sharky run Petunia to the library tonight when he gets home since we were unable to on Saturday.
