Had a back & forth thru emails with Petunia's principal after hearing from a woman at the school board that Petunia's chances of getting into Paxon was slim to none. The principal said to remain positive and to keep hopes up. Petunia was pretty crushed.

TBoo's mother, CS, started planning the baby shower already, most likely to be held in August/September. I told TBoo to tell her mom to go ahead, because we'll help out. Made me very sad that there isn't much we can do for the kids. *sigh*

Bear called yesterday. He called around lunch and we had a nice long talk and then he called back last night to talk to his dad. He's headed back to HI this week and is glad to be going "home." He's also super excited about his upcoming leave this summer. It will be a year since we have seen him.

Sharky took Petunia to the store to buy soda for a science experiment and brought home burritos for dinner.
