After Sharky & Mr. DW worked on the boat engine Saturday, the 3 of us (Sharky, Petunia and I) went to a Caribbean restaurant downtown and got takeout. (It really wasn't an eat in kind of place.) We took it home and it was delicious. We had jerk chicken, beef stew and curried goat. I wanted to try the oxtails but they were all out. Everything came with rice & peas (actually beans) and we got plantains for Sharky & Petunia and dumplings. Those were odd, like boiled biscuits, but were great in taming the heat from the food. There was enough leftover for me to have a nice lunch and Sharky dinner yesterday.

Yesterday, Sharky spent most of the day helping Mr. DW install the motor back on the boat. He took a break to take Petunia to pick up MB in Arlington and then drop them both off at BB's house. The 3 kids, and BB's mom, went to Hawker's and then to see Spiderman 2 at SunRay. MB insisted on paying for Petunia even though she had spending money.

I watched Tangled (2010) and then the last 6 episodes of Torchwood Season 2. I cried like a baby. I wish American TV could develop shows like that and Doctor Who - intelligent sci-fi that also had emotion.

Bug & Tboo planned on visiting this weekend but they texted me last night and let me know they won't be able to come home. Bug said he was very disappointed and I told him we were too, but we understand and he shouldn't think we were upset. Totally understand that shit happens sometimes.
