Well, I did it. I finished watching Doctor Who. *sigh* Petunia is just going to have to catch up. LOL I think we'll do that this summer. I have all the dvds, but am missing Season 4 specials (that were packaged seperately) and the 50th anniversary special "The Day of the Doctor" which was just recently released and that I have not seen. The 8th season starts in August, on cable here in the US of course, and I know I won't be able to avoid spoilers. *sigh*

Bear's package for his Las Vegas concert arrived yesterday, so after the library run this morning, Sharky & Petunia will be going to the post office to send it off to him. Only a few more weeks and he'll be home! Bug hasn't heard about his leave, but hopefully will soon.

Thursday, there was a school meeting that Sharky & Petunia went to. Totally unproductive, but if a parent didn't attend, the kids wouldn't get the tickets to the award banquet, etc.

The 8th graders had a trip to NYC that left on Thursday and no, Petunia didn't go. She was home sick when the permission slips were passed out and no one told her. When we realized last week that we hadn't received one, we were told by the school it was too late. Yes, I was seriously pissed off and she was pretty devastated by that. And yes, I let the school know, politely, that I was not happy about that. All those years of last minute permission slips, and this one was early and no one told us. I guess if I was a better parent, I would have been more on the ball about it.
