Valentine's Day (Friday)

Plans change, constantly. LOL Never a dull moment around here.

Today is Early Release for Petunia but she has a school dance today, so instead of getting out at 3, she'll stay at school for the dance. It's over at 5:30 pm, perfect timing for Sharky to pick her up at school after work.

He kept saying he wanted to do something special, but going to a restaurant on Valentine's Day (especially one that falls on a Friday) wasn't something I really was looking forward to, so I brought up the idea of him picking up dinner on the way home after picking up Petunia. He thought that was a great idea. We decided on Captain D's, a fast-food seafood restaurant because (1) I had coupons LOL and (2) there is no way we could afford seafood for 3 people for less than $20 bucks. I really like their English style battered fish and since there are no Arthur Treacher's here anymore (or even any Long John Silver's), they are just as good (actually better since they have stuff like fried okra on the menu).

Felinertia: The cats have all been super snugly lately with the very cold weather. Rupert was sleeping on me for a while, with Lucie & Rosie sleeping with Petunia and now lately, its switched, with Lucie on me and Rupert & Rosie with Petunia. More and more often, sometime during the day when I have my nap, the cats all pile on top of me, all 3. Ever since Lucie slid off of Petunia's leg while we were watching Doctor Who and landed on top of Rosie and neither objected, they've been getting along better. Lucie still doesn't want to share with Rupert and I don't know why because they get along doing other things, and she wants to snuggle with Rosie more (even gives her a token lick/wash or two to be nice). Today, Sharky left his blanket on the couch and Rupert & Rosie have made a  nest on it, it didn't take too long for Lucie to come up and  kind of snuggle next to them, almost but not quite touching.
