Tuesday

Had a very difficult day yesterday. With no medical refills left and a dwindling supply of medicine, I am weaning myself off the final drug. I had 12 doses left and split them all in half, from 20mg to 10mg and started taking it yesterday. Can't go cold turkey and this is the best way about it. I can feel it, extremely bad headache and messed up vision ("vibrating eyes"), along with mood swings.

Of course, with Mercury in Retrograde, communications is pretty messed up. Ended up "breaking up" with my women's group last night. I asked if I was still welcome at the retreat and was basically told that for the past 2 trips, I was filled with negative energy and it was very tough on everyone else. I apologized for my behavior. *sigh* Cried like a baby. I knew something was wrong, I was always saying the wrong thing and catching eye rolls in my direction, etc. I just didn't realize it was so bad and they thought so little of me. The one lady who has talked to me about it (KS) edited her original post to make it less harsh and offered to meet and talk, but I just cannot do that right now.

Poor Petunia saw and hugged me and gave me some good advice, to take a break from Facebook, so I am. I know these are local women, but the only contact I have with them is via FB, so it's best if I just don't have any contact at all. I removed the app shortcut from my phone and made a brief announcement on my page that I was taking a break and gave my email address if anyone wanted to contact me.

I'm not leaving the internet though. I still love a lot of sites I go to, like Twitter, Tumbler, Instagram (especially that!), I'll just only use FB as a portal for the 2 games I play there.

Anyways, after Sharky got home from work, we went to Publix to do some shopping. I really need to get back on the ball and do shopping on the weekends instead of in the evening. That store is always so packed at night. Sharky & Petunia ran across the street to Firehouse Subs (newly re-opened) and picked up dinner while I shopped. I treated myself to a Swiffer WetJet. LOL Always wanted one of those. Definitely will be better than a mop.

Sharky got off work early today to go see the lawyer. Fingers crossed...
