Friday

We had no hot water for most of the day yesterday, so I used some "Dread Butta" to tame my hair so it wouldn't be so frizzy. It did a pretty good job and I think the final result looked pretty good. Bug came by for a bit and visited (TBoo was at her mom's getting ready) and then he ran over to Subway in 5 Points to see CollyBear. I picked up Petunia at the bus stop, after getting dressed and Sharky met us at the bus stop. We all got home and they started to get dressed. Bug came by and put on his dress blues. Petunia rode with him and they followed us to Stockton Park.

TBoo was there, with her mom and baby brother, best friend K, and the lady who married them. CollyBear showed up soon after and we all took pictures while waiting for her dad to show up. He finally arrived and we got down to business. It was overcast (and cold) all day but there was a fabulous sunset for a brief moment. The ceremony was short and sweet. TBoo looked lovely in her dress.

Afterwards, they came back to our house so Bug could change out of his dress blues. He put on regular clothes and then they left to go out to eat with their friends and take K back to Middleburg where she lives, and then the two of them went back to their hotel. (Hopefully Daisy, their dog, behaved.)

We were pretty worn out, so we ordered subs from Jimmy Johns and had them delivered. Watched a bit of tv and then went to bed.

Slept horribly and woke up with one of those ugly headaches. Took a long time for it to go away and it's still hanging on, like an echo in my brain.

Since we don't have a dryer, it takes a while for clothes to hang dry, so as soon as Petunia got home from school today, I had her gather up all her school clothes and start the wash. As soon as its done, it will get hung up in the laundry room. Plenty of southern sun to help dry it in time for Monday. When Sharky gets home, we'll do the same.

Bug will only be here until Sunday, when he gets a moving truck and they go back to NC. We want to have dinner with him and TBoo either tonight or tomorrow night, but I don't know.
