Sunday

Yesterday, Bug went to PT at 0530 and we never heard from him. Finally called his work at 1300 and discovered he was there. When he got home that night, we told him that he NEEDS TO CALL HOME when plans change (we were supposed to pick him up but he was dropped off instead). *sigh* Then, he jumped in the shower and TB picked him up to go out to eat with her family for a birthday supper. Poor guy ended up with a killer headache and fell asleep on her couch afterward. Just made it home in time. Had to get up early this morning for work and I know he's going to be exhausted by this evening. He swears there is nothing else planned for tonight or tomorrow. Hopefully not, it feels like he's gone more than he is home.

Sharky and Petunia did the errands yesterday. He needed gloves and they have made a tradition of doing errands together every Saturday for some Daddy-Daughter time. They dropped the books off at the library and picked up Gabby's flea medicine. Of course, they ran out of her size dosage, so they gave us one for a bigger dog. She takes 1/2 this time and then the other 1/2 in 4 weeks - which works out good because we essentially got 2 doses for the same price.

After Bug left for work this morning, Sharky ran over to help a friend with his mom's car. Turned out, it didn't need any "real" work - the battery cables were corroded and the starter wire was loose. He really doesn't care too much for the "friend" but feels sorry because the guy runs his mom's car to pieces. You know, typical slacker in his 20s. *rolls eyes* Thank goodness our boys aren't going to end up like that.

Oh well, Sharky's home now and that is all that matters. :-)
