Monday

Had to wake up this morning at 0330. Sharky had to be at his boss's house by 0500. We got home and everyone went back to bed. At 0930, I was woken up by a man's voice saying "JEA" (which is the electricity company) but when I stepped out the front door, he had actually said "UPS" and had left a package on the front porch. (Sharky's anniversary present! WOOHOO!) I'm so happy it arrived, I was afraid it might not come until next week. This way, it's here for when he gets home this weekend. I wasn't even expecting it today, since its President's Day. Guess they run during holidays. Speaking of which, the kids are both home from school and Petunia woke up when I did and we are about to have bagels. Mmm, good.

"It is horrifying that we have to fight our own government
to save the environment."
