Another semi-sleepless night. Woke up at one point to use the bathroom and I was so hot and soaked with sweat from head to toe - by the time I made it back to bed, I was freezing and shivering. Sharky had to wrap me up in blankets before I calmed down.
Woke up at one point and decided to leave him be, so I went to the living room and tried to watch tv. Ended up watching Runaway Heart aka The Secret Life of Archie's Wife (1990). Absolutely the stupidest shit I have ever seen. A loser bank robber kidnaps a loser housewife and we're supposed to laugh and smile at their antics. *rolls eyes* Ended up back in bed in more pain then when I got out.
Finally Sharky convinced me to take a pain pill, so I sat here at the computer, playing solitaire while I forced saltines and juice down so I wouldn't throw up the pill. Took the pain away so I was able to go back to sleep - sweaty, but at least I was sleeping.
Night before last, Sharky was in the back yard having a cigarette when he saw bats flying in the air! He got the boys to come out and watch with him. (Poor Petunia was already asleep.) I'm very happy to know we've got bats - they are big mosquito eaters and we've got more than enough to go around!
I'm going to go lay down now and rest. Gotta get those kids up soon and pay that JEA bill.
