Went to the library yesterday and checked out two books: The Last Templar and The Sanctuary, both by Raymond Khoury. Finished the first one - fast, fun read - and am now reading the second. Still waiting on the Steve Berry books. Recommended them to Mom and Dad yesterday, I think they'd really like him.

After the library run, I went to Publix and spent a lot of money on stuff. I hate going without a list. Geeze. So unorganized. I'm sure the cashier knew I had teenagers from the amount of Stridex and "male" deodorant I purchased (all on sale, btw lol). Of course, I discovered when I got home that I forgot a ton of stuff. Typical. That is why I make lists in the first place... *sigh*

Bug has detention today for talking in the hallway last week (being a "social butterfly" lol). Yeah, detention is so backed up a student has to be scheduled in. *rolls eyes*

Sharky called because he couldn't find his debit card and wanted me to check the account. We're sure he left it in Joan. He was horrified by the bank balance. He shouldn't have been. *double sigh* Now I'm all depressed because I upset him. I know it's not my fault, but the old guilt trip is rearing it's ugly head again. I've been paying bills and nothing has been cut off, I try hard to save money, I just don't do good enough.

Dreamtime:
Petunia and I were taking a walk and we came upon a crowd of people. In the midst was Eva Longoria Parker talking about her obsession with homeless people eating tamales on her condo's back patio and then having diarrhea in the back yard. She held out a half-eaten tamale with a grabber stick to illustrate her point. Her neighbors were all gay men who had no idea what she was talking about, but were polite and humoring her. Petunia and I waited until everyone went inside and then she and I walked around the condos to the back and stood on the patio and looked at the beautiful sunset and cityscape that we could see in the distance.
