Mailing PCX card to Turkey today.
Bug woke up in the middle of the night and vomited. Between the soccer game and dinner/dessert, he really over did it. He says he's fine now and is going to school.
Petunia is staying home because she has a "killer" headache and mouthache because of all the new braces and wires. Poor thing is having a hard time closing her mouth right now.
Dinner was good last night, had Johnsonville Cheddarwurst Brats and cauliflower. Served the Mardi Gras King Cake for dessert and of course, Petunia got the baby! (I hid the baby and then dished up the cake, letting everyone from youngest to oldest choose which piece they wanted so I wouldn't be accused of not being fair. LOL) The kids had no idea what the "prize" was and thought it was hysterical. I think next year, besides the baby, I'll stick a couple of coins (different denominations) in the cake so everyone can have a prize. (Yes, will warn first so no one chokes on their prize. Eek!)
Gabby did well all night long and this morning she's in a very good mood. I'm happy that the shot worked. She will start taking the steroid pills on Sunday. We were supposed to apply the Advantage last night, but I forgot. I think we will do that on Friday night.
Sharky and I watched Eve's Bayou (1997) last night. I cannot believe that I waited so long to watch this movie. It is a hauntingly beautiful, magical and yet sad film about a family's love and infidelities. The acting is wonderful all-round, from the kids to the adults, the costumes and sets are beautiful, and the scenery makes you want to just uproot and move to Louisiana immediately. This is definitely a "classic" film.
