Updating a little late today. Took some Tylenol after Bug left and sat down for a few minutes, next thing I knew I woke up. Eek! Then it happened again - I took a shower and had so much hot water, I thought a nice soak would feel good. Dozed off in the tub. It's been a long time since that has happened to me.
Sharky had a nice birthday yesterday. The no-bake cheesecake was the flattest thing I've ever seen (Bear couldn't find the beaters to the beater thingy and it had to be put in the freezer to set) but it tasted delicious. The pork chops turned out marvelous (Bear's first time making them) and we had mashed potatoes and yellow zucchini for side dishes. (Yes, yellow zucchini! We found it Saturday at Publix and thought we'd give it a try. It was good, but looked like summer squash when cooked. We should have paired it with regular green zucchini for a nicer contrast.)
My best friend, C, had taped a Ninja Warrior tv series for us to watch and we had some great belly laughs watching it. It was a lot more entertaining than, let's say "American Gladiator" because most of the guys competing for the Ninja Warrior title were not professionals - just every day guys training.
