How to clean up cat vomit: Yeah, Malcolm upchucked all over our bed yesterday, on MY side, near my pillow, of course. I was so not happy about it. I stripped off the sheets to discover to my horror that it had soaked through to the mattress! Well, I don't want to sleep in a bed that smells like cat vomit, so I grabbed the baking soda and mounded it on the wet spots. A couple of hours later, with a dustpan, I swept up the baking soda and the spots were dry, stain-free, and did NOT smell like vomit! Hurrah!
We watched A Sound of Thunder (2005) last night. I will start off by saying it is based on the short story by Ray Bradbury (which btw was a great story) but other than some things in common in the beginning, deviates greatly from the classic tale. The acting was campy, the CGI was cheezy, the creatures absurd, and last, but not least, the tale quite convoluted in the beginning and hard to understand for younger kids who just want to see dinos in action. My teenage sons loved it (huge time travel fans) and even my husband really enjoyed it. I'm quite puzzled because, honestly, I didn't think it was all that great. I gave it a 2/5 just because of the campiness. BTW, it would have made an awesome comedy...
