Sharky and Bear went to Mr. Wood's house yesterday to help him build a floor for a garden shed. Mr. Wood tried to do it himself last week, but his health just isn't up to it. They had fun and got it done in plenty of time.
Petunia, Bug, and I went to Wallyworld to pick up my RX. Stupid pharmacy there actually sent me an email saying my meds were all ready to be picked up - and yet when we arrived, they had not been done yet. WTH? Bug said he thought it was a con game to get us to wander around the store and SHOP (i.e., spend money) while we were waiting.
It worked. LOL I splurged a tiny bit and bought Sharky and I new pillows. (Our old ones were just flattened beyond repair.) It sure was nice last night having a soft, fluffy pillow again! Silly how something small like that can feel so luxurious. I also picked up a new body pillow. I bought my old one almost 8 years ago (while pregnant with Petunia) and frankly, it just could not be washed one more time without falling apart. I figured it was better to just buy a new one for $8.88 than to try and patch one that was disintegrating. LOL It was hard to sleep with a new one, my old one was quite flattened and form fitting. It might take a while to get used to the new one.
The neighbours woke up Petunia AGAIN last night. Asshats. I wish they'd just go away.
Sharky is working at MC all this week. He hates it and I don't blame him. They only use him because he knows how the manager position works and the manager there (who's on vacation) refuses to train his underlings to take over (the "All about Eve" fear). As I've said before, too bad they don't give hazardous pay for doing temp jobs like this. Heck, he doesn't even get a "thank you." *sigh*
Doing the grocery shopping today. Kids are still asleep and I'm dreading getting them up. LOL It's so nice having quiet time...
