The heat index yesterday got up into the triple digits and most likely will again today. EEK!
Went to the library so Bug could renew the book he is still reading.
Then, went to the dollar store on McDuff so I could get a coupon organizer. That was a nightmare. It was a really clean, nice store with friendly workers when it opened. Now it's just a filthy mess with surly employees. *sigh*
Bear remembered seeing a "new" Dollar Tree on Blanding (in the Lake Shore neighbourhood) so we took a quick drive there. (It's where the old JoAnn Fabric store used to be.) WOW, what a great store! I love Dollar Trees because they are a true $1 store and this one was huge and clean and the employees were nice and friendly. We had a lot of fun walking around and looking at stuff - and yes, finally found my coupon organizer. LOL
Going to go to the library again today, to pick up a book for me that just came in.
Going to swing by Goodwill too and drop off a couple of bags of clothing. Cousin G gave the boys a ton of stuff and we went thru it last night. Most was totally unacceptable to them (think Tommy Hilfiger for old men lol) but they did keep some cool shirts. Found two really expensive funky shirts that must have belonged to Cousin G's son - keeping those for fun hehehe and there were a couple of dark-coloured silk shirts (camp style) that I convinced the boys to hang on to, just in case they wanted to wear something a bit dressier than t-shirts.
