Had a great time at the Harry Potter 7: The Deathly Hallows party at Barnes & Noble last night. We met C, her husband and her MIL there, along with 10,000 other people. LOL There were so many in costume, from little kids to teens to adults - some costumes were good, some were just bizarre (like the Jedi Knights and the girl with a piece of paper that said "Harry Potter" taped to her chest).
C treated all of us to Frappuccinos at Starbucks. She and I had caramel and the boys had raspberry chocolate. You should have seen the "barista's" face when I said it was ok for them to have the coffee version (like there is really all that much coffee in those things). Geeze, both of them are teenagers (ok, Bug will be in a few weeks) and I don't let them have coffee normally - this was just a special treat. It's not like one Frappuccino will stunt their growth or anything. LOL The boys really enjoyed them.
Luckily, C's HP book release bracelet (that she had picked up Friday morning) was #1 so she literally was the first one to get the books at midnight. We were home before 12:25 a.m. this morning because there was NO traffic on I-95N! LOL
Stayed up a bit and chatted with Sharky, who had managed to get Petunia to bed by 11:30 p.m. (she was excited about the tooth fairy - got a dollar this morning). I so did not want to get up this morning, but Mother Nature calls, you know? LOL
