Bear and I went shopping at Publix yesterday and had to be very careful about the money. We did pretty good, I was impressed that we were able to keep to the list and to the budget.

Was still so exhausted from Friday night, I had a nap. Wasn't much of one because the asshats next door were playing with their little power scooter that sounds like a freaking chainsaw. I swear, it is like they know the instant I want to lay down and then park it out side my window and rev it up. Damn.

Had some excellent thunderstorms last night, hopefully everything got a good soak. Bug made us French Toast for dinner. (I posted his recipe on Friday, below.) It was scrumptious.

We watched two movies: Kate & Leopold (2001) and Shallow Hal (2001). Both were cute movies, but nothing good enough to own. Too many time travel plot holes in the first one and almost (but not quite) offensive things in the second. (Although there is something disgustingly adorable about Jack Black and I just don't understand it. LOL)

My fave garden junque lady emailed me yesterday and told me she had saved a couple of things for me so I'm going to pick them up today. One of them, an old wooden high chair, I might save to clean up for Petunia to use for her dolls (it's not safe enough for a child anymore) - if it's not in decent enough shape, it's going into the yard. There's also a lamp that looks like I can turn into a neat birdbath.

Oh, btw, found the sweetest antique child's chair sitting in someone's garbage last week. It's missing a back leg, but when pushed into the ground with a stick to help balance it in back, it looks adorable in the garden.
