Today's the "big day" - Sharky goes in for Jury Duty. EEEK! He's left already for downtown, I figured better be early instead of late. Between that and Ethyl's problems, I had to back out of a WG? gathering that is being held tomorrow in Live Oak. Shame too, it would have been fun. There's just no way we can afford the gas there and back now.
Petunia woke up just in time to say goodbye. I'm going to let the boys sleep in a bit, just to enjoy the quiet time.
Baby Cardinal hung around the porch for a couple of days and we haven't seen him since. I hope that's a good sign, that's he's healthy and strong enough to explore the world. It was fun though, watching him hop everywhere and peep. LOL
