I'm so tired, I don't even know when I went to bed last night. Neighbours' a/c was acting up, sounded like ball bearings in a soda can, but I can handle that better than screaming and fighting.
Slept hard and had a bad time waking up this morning. I asked Sharky when the kids went to bed and he couldn't even remember. I'm glad he heard the alarm clock because I didn't. (Most likely, I woke him up and just don't remember. He almost never hears the alarm - wrong tones for his hearing.)
I took a diabetes survey on line a while back and received my "reward" for it yesterday - a brand new One Touch Ultra Mini! I was so thrilled. I've been wanting one of these (they are smaller and more compact than the one I have) and I got it for FREE. LOL
We've got the car today - Sharky remembered to gas up Ethyl when he got home last night. (Looks like the rubber freeze plug is working? *fingers crossed*)
Not sure what our plans for today are. I think I'm going to go lie down on the couch and take a brief nap before all the kids wake up. *sigh*
Looks like we might spend the 4th at my Mom's. She's all bummed out because Tyson bit her the other day. She picked him up as she stood up and thinks she might have pinched him by accident. He's never bitten, hissed or scratched anyone (even Chloe) before. The bite was pretty severe, she had to go to the doctor yesterday morning and have it professionally cleaned and get antibiotics, just in case. The day before that, she had to go to the dentist because a tooth broke. Poor thing, she feels like she is falling apart.
