I have the car today. Ran a couple of errands and had to pay the JEA bill to keep up my end of the deal so they don't turn our electricity off again. No one, absolutely no one there is authorized to waive that stupid deposit, so we are forced to pay it, no matter what, and if we don't, they'll cut our power off. *sigh*
Today's early out day, but Bear has band practice all afternoon. He really loves it and I'm glad.
I still have a hole in my heart where Stella was. But it's not a hole that can be filled. When Butterscotch passed on, I needed another cat - our family didn't feel complete until Malcolm arrived (no matter how odd that was). Now? We're back to what we are supposed to be - one dog and two cats. No one can replace Stella and I feel like we are not to have three cats again, or at least, not for a long while. Maybe this is part of the lesson? Stella was a star in our life, but a star that shined briefly before going out...
