Surprise, surprise, I got a call from the PTA Clown Woman! They did receive my dues, she just has to have 10 at a time to print out the cards. I told her that because it had been such a long time, I was afraid the small envelope became lost. She even apologized for not telling me yesterday when I picked up Petunia's fundraiser package. I should have asked then, but I was taken aback when she just handed me Petunia's package without even asking my name. I didn't know she knew who I was. Maybe it was because her son is in my daughter's class? Probably...

Oh, the rolled & tied pork roast that I bought super cheap on sale at Publix was fabulous last night. I stuck it in, frozen solid (oops!), in the crock pot on high for 4 hours, then switched it to low. By the time I put the potatoes in the oven to bake, it was totally cooked, falling apart. I fished it out, drained the fat, cut and removed the strings), then put it back and poured in some Rumboggies BBQ sauce and turned the crock pot on "keep warm". (I love the "keep warm" option!) Mmmm, I just LOVE BBQ pork on a baked potato! Delish!

BTW, Rumboggies is a "southern style" mustard based bbq sauce and is my absolute fave since I discovered it. I don't think I will ever go back to a ketchup or tomato based sauce. The link I supplied above is to their main distributor, Carolina Sauces, but if you are in Jax, you can find Rumboggies at any Publix or Winn Dixie grocery store.
