Sharky and I were up bright and early this morning and discovered that Bug slept all night on the couch (again) and Gabby had got into the garbage. Geeze. Bug "sleepwalks" - he goes to the bathroom and ends up on the couch instead of back in his bedroom. I wish he wouldn't do that, but I don't know how to stop it. He's been doing this for years now. I'm very disappointed in Gabby. There was no reason for her to get into the garbage that I can think of. Anything "tempting" or smelly goes straight to the outside garbage. Obviously, I missed something.
The weather is gorgeous. Since Sharky leaves at 7:00 a.m. this week, I had to put all the kids in the car to drive Bug to the shuttle and we were all very surprised at how cool it was outside. My weather thingy says it's 61°F. Woohoo! I can definitely live with this. *big grin* Got my fingers crossed that Samhain weekend will be lovely and cool.
I'm going to try hard to make this a good week, not to get stressed out over the little stuff, to stay positive and upbeat. *fingers crossed*
I forgot to test my blood this morning until after my 2nd cup of coffee, so my reading was 166. That's a big ooops there. I have the kit sitting right here, in front of my monitor, but between the kid and the dog, all I wanted was my coffee and my email. LOL
I didn't get any pictures hung this weekend and I'm rather disappointed in myself. Today is going to be a rather busy day, so maybe I'll plan on hanging some tomorrow?
I need to call C later today and hopefully we can get together for lunch this week, either Tuesday or Thursday. I haven't seen her in a while and miss her.
Another thing I absolutely have to do is to make a chart of chores for the kids and I. I'm thinking of a grid chart so the person who does the chore initials in the box when it is completed so I know who is doing them and who isn't. I wonder if my OpenOffice spreadsheet program will work for something like this? Hmm...
