It's only 70°F out today and the humidity is only 88%, so it feels quite nice and cool outside! Oooh, I hope it stays this way for a while. It would be nice to have a cold Samhain holiday for once! My outfit for the Witches Ball is nice and cool(ish) but still, I'd rather be cold! LOL I didn't like sweating last year in the faux velvet that I wore.

I talked to Sharky yesterday about my hair. I'm thinking about colouring it again. I asked what he thought about "black" and he said to go for it. LOL Actually, I'm thinking more of like a black cherry colour, not just plain old black or blue-black. I've always wanted to try it, might as well do it while I'm still (semi) young. *grins* I really don't want to do it myself though, but I don't know if I can afford to have a "professional" do it. Hmmm...

Yesterday, when Sharky got home, he honked his horn to get me to move my car which was parked too far front in the driveway. I grabbed my keys, went outside and found him in my car already, moving it. He shoo'ed me into the house. Turns out, Cornpone (who's back living next door) and DirtyDredlocks were in one hell of a screaming match in their driveway. Sharky was afraid of it escalating and did not want me outside. He finally went over there and told them that they needed to take their fight elsewhere. When that didn't work, he asked them if they would like it if he were fighting in his driveway, screaming and shouting at the top of his lungs. They actually admited that they would not like that and they did go inside their house. Gee, intelligent conversation worked? Amazing...

The kids missed LOST last night, I stuck to my decision and Sharky, as always, backed me up. They hated it and threw a fit, but damn it, I can't keep waffling. My mantra last night was "My decision is made, end of discussion." After a while, they shut up because I did not change that statement, I just kept saying it over and over. Maybe they will think twice about stealing and lying next time. I sure hope so...

I feel a lot better today than I did yesterday. The headache is still there, but no where near as severe as it was.

I just discovered that my kids' construction paper says "acid free" on the cover - but half of the package is missing. Hopefully, Bear will find the other half in his room so I can use parts of it for Grandma's AB. I used the peach colour for Petunia's hand and foot and didn't even think about the acid content. Glad I don't have to worry about it now! LOL
