Monday, Monday, Monday...

Playing catch-up today!

Petunia had a fab time at the birthday party sleepover Friday night. The girls all stayed up to 4:00 a.m. and then were awake before 9 for breakfast. LOL BB loved her presents too. Picked her up after 12 and then we all ran some errands. Never did rain, just was kind of funky out.

Went to CompUSA in Arlington but did not spend any money there at all due to the crappy service. One worker wouldn't answer Sharky's simple question (heck, wouldn't even listen to the question) and two passed me over to assist men instead. Oooh boy, good way to lose MY business. Definitely won't be going back there.

Ended up at the Best Buy around the corner which did have some of what we were looking for. Bought the boys Go-phones for emergencies so they could stop depending upon their friends' phones. Talk about two super-excited teens. *rolls eyes* We told them that these are for emergencies only and cannot waste all their minutes on friends because we were not going to just reload these willy-nilly. Hopefully they'll get over the thrill soon. (Doubt it. LOL)

The weather started looking quite bad, so we came back to our side of town and went to LongHorn Steakhouse for late lunch/early dinner. Fabulous steaks - seriously. The fried cheesecake? Not as good as we remembered. Oh well, can't have it all.

Sunday was a great day. Got everyone up and ready and then we made it to the zoo at 10:00 a.m. Even though it was in the 40s, the animals were all up and frisky and playing. We made it halfway through before I pooped out and I'm proud that I made it that far, considering the pain I was in.

Had a late lunch/early dinner at the Cracker Barrel behind the Regency Mall. Had to wait 20 minutes (we sat outside in the cold, better than inside with the crowd!) but got a great table and an awesome waiter ("Bob") who literally treated us like we were his only customers. Food was fab as always.

Everyone crashed early last night, just like Saturday night, but it was back to the old freak out and rush this morning since Petunia was the only one who had a shower before bed. I wish the boys would shower before bed as well, because its a nightmare trying to get both of them and Sharky ready at the same time. *sigh* Besides, I hate Bear walking to school with wet hair. Oh well, at least he had a knit cap on.
