Would have been fun to take the kids downtown to see the parade, but my blood tests at the lab are scheduled for this morning. Fasting too, which sucks since I cannot have my coffee right now. Argh, my stomach is growling. Trying to drink enough water so I'm not dehydrated.

Sharky worked on the motorcycle this weekend and is driving it to work this morning. Goodness, I sure hope it runs ok. Going to bring him his lunch after the testing because I forgot to make it this morning.

Well shit. Just got a call from Sharky, he had to push the bike the last 2.5 miles. According to Google maps, that is a normal 44 minute walk - so you can just imagine how his body must feel because he covered it in less time, pushing a Kawasaki. *sigh* I will have to pick him up if he can't get it running but I don't know how we can get the thing home since we don't have a truck anymore.

Bug tried out for the school's Lacrosse team last week and made it. Its not that he's a big fan of the sport or anything, he's just excited because a lot of his friends are on the team as well and he said it makes it a lot more fun that way. LOL

Did not go to the zoo yesterday because no one would get up and ready. Then I was the one bitched at, with all of them saying things like "Well, why didn't you make us?" You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink and you sure as hell cannot explain that to a freaking horse either. *sigh*

My grandmother's birthday was Saturday, the 16th. If she had lived, she would have been 100 years old. Missed it by a decade. Hard to believe she's been gone that long...
