Another great day was had...

Yesterday, around noon, CH picked me up and we ran out to check out a local shop. We were having fun, so he ended up taking me to a local sushi place where I ate my first real sushi (as in not Publix sushi or the stuff from a Chinese buffet lol). I had the "Rock 'n Roll" with tempura shrimp and CH had the Jaguar Roll with eel (!) and a piece of conch sashimi. I did not try the conch (he said it was quite good) but did help him finish his Jaguar Roll - oh my goodness, I never would have thought that eel tasted so good. ROFLOL. We then had a coffee at Starbucks and ran an errand to Volde-mart. All in all, an excellent outing was had - it's so nice to be with a friend whom I don't have to censor myself with. There are so few of those.

Found out that Volde-mart (at least the one on 103rd) carries real 100% Tea Tree oil in the vitamin/supplements section near the pharmacy! Good price too. I had been looking for an affordable bottle for a while now.

Got home and found out the boys had made headway on our cookout. Bear had made the potato salad and Bug was getting ready to slap the ribs on the grill. Everything was delish.

Well, today is Tuesday but it feels like Monday. The boys got up, dressed and headed out fine, but Petunia is pulling her stunts again - refusing to shower, get dressed, and go to school. I'm just handling it one battle at a time. *sigh* Right now, she's in the shower bitching as loud as she can. "The boys don't have to shower." "The boys don't have to wash their hair." "The boys can stay home any time they want." All untrue, but hey - she has to complain about something, so... I keep reminding her that she just had a 3 day weekend and tomorrow is "early out", so this isn't even a full week of school.
