Cats, Jax, and the Plastic Princess

We all had a wonderful time at my Mom's today. The traffic down was good and not too bad coming home. Got to see Auntie S and have delicious burgers grilled by sDad. Kids had a blast and behaved wonderfully. Bug is staying there until Monday as a special treat. He's thrilled to pieces.

From our spot in Flagler Beach, here is a view of the space shuttle being launched today. Too bad my camera wasn't as sophisticated as some - you could see the bright orange flame with your bare eyes. We could even see when the boosters(?) were released. My kids were so thrilled. Heck, my parents and my almost 70-yo auntie all jumped up and down in the street with us and cheered! LOL


Here is the cake Mom bought from a Publix grocery store in Flagler Beach. Isn't it hilarious? It was very delicious - inside was yellow cake "buns", white icing "mayonnaise", and chocolate cake "burger".
