We put the kids to bed at a "reasonable" time last night and then watched High Fidelity (2000). At first, I thought it was kind of cute, but the longer it went on, the more I started not to like it. One character calls the main protagonist a "f*ing asshole" and she wasn't kidding. I normally like John Cusack - this is the first character he's played that I absolutely detested. LOL The music was good though, we did enjoy that - oh, and Jack Black. He's always annoying but I like the way he sings.

The kids wanted to go to the Pecan Park flea market this morning but we had to say no. Have to make the car payment, so funds are kinda tight. We told them maybe next weekend. They were disappointed, but not horribly so.

Found out that Cousin G is having marital problems of the worst kind. Been married less than a year and already the bitch is demanding to take his house, his boat, everything - even though she has not contributed one dime to any of it. Sharky and I know he only married her because he was lonely and she was "good" companionship at the time, but definitely not wife material - way too flaky and high strung. Sharky feels a lot of guilt because we weren't around during his first breakup with wife #1 (we were having our own problems at the time with my "friends from hell") so he wants to make sure he's there to support his this go-round.

Its 61°F outside right now and I'm hoping it will warm up enough for Sharky and the boys to wash and vaccuum Bailey.

The boys finally found Petunia's gameboy. *phew* What a relief. LOL

I'm going to sign off for now because I've got holiday cards to print, write, stamp and take to the post office! Wooohooo! (Trying my damndest to cheer up here...)
