Wednesday

Mom called when she got home from the hospital yesterday afternoon. Auntie Sue came out of surgery and was doing ok. The surgeon found a tumor in one lung and biopsied it. Hopefully they'll find out soon. Mom will hopefully call me today and update me.

Yesterday was a disaster. Around noon, got a call from Petunia's high school that a student turned in another student for having a gun on campus. The kid was taken into custody and everything was fine. The, Bear called and we were talking about the disaster in HI (2 USMC helicopters crashing over water). Right in the middle of the phone call, a man came to the door. I put the phone down and cracked it opening, thinking it was the mailman. Tony pushed his fat head through the crack and took off. I ran out after him, calling him (in my sweatpants and socks too). The man wasn't the mailman, just an old guy looking for work, followed me, asking me stupid questions until I told him to leave me alone. I finally caught up with Tony at the end of the block. I had to drag him, hunched over, the whole way home because I was afraid of letting go and him taking off again. By the time I made it back to the house, I had slipped my hip and fallen and was starting an asthma attack. Got inside and made Tony go into his doghouse. Spent the next 2 hours just trying to get my heart-rate down and breathe normally. Felt horrible.

Petunia and CD went to Robotics yesterday and it was a short meeting. I picked them up at 4 pm and dropped them off at the Cummer Museum. (Its free on Tuesday afternoons.) They had a lovely time walking around the gardens and checking out the exhibits. They even stopped in the cafe for a cup of tea. LOL So cute. I picked them up and drove CD home. He's such a polite young boy with excellent manners.
