December Recap

2nd - Sharky's birthday

4th - BabyBug's first birthday. FCWR at Corner Bakery in Brooklyn.

5th - Beach Day! DW picks up Petunia and follows us to Little Talbot Island. Weather was dreary and cold, but we had fun. I packed up a picnic lunch with cupcakes and we celebrated Sharky's birthday.

7th - Sharky's birthday present finally arrives at 5 am - Bear. He had flown from HI to NC on Sunday and Bug/TBoo/BabyBug picked him up and they all drove down here overnight. Bug & Family stayed at TBoo's dad's house. Petunia had her first Guidance session. We chose Monday evenings as our appointment time.

8th - Bear goes over FatMatt's house after dinner and spends the night, visiting with them.

9th - Sharky has another chemo doc appointment and then has the rest of the day off. He and both boys spend the day together.

10th - Everyone (and DW) meets at the "new" Golden Corral for dinner at 6pm. Had a great time. I sat next to BabyBug and helped feed him grownup food. He was so sweet and good for me.

11th - Sharky has appointment with radiation doc. Rita skips school with permission and all 4 kids go to see a movie. BabyBug stays here with me. I fed him lunch and sang to him. He loves music and every time I stopped singing, he'd poke me in the mouth to make me sing again. We watched the first episode of the "new" Doctor Who where #9 premieres. BabyBug enjoyed it. Then, we watched Nightmare Before Christmas and I sang to him. He danced himself to sleep. Afterwards, we all went to Volde-mart. I wanted to get him a car for his birthday but decided upon the Leap Frog interactive puppy, Scout. (It made music and you could program it to sing his name. Bug says its one of his fave toys now.)

12th - We all went over to CS's house for BabyBug's first birthday party. Tons of people (all TBoo's rellies). Very claustrophobic but we had a nice time.

13th - Bear, Bug & Family leave at about 2 pm. On I-95N, they witnessed an RV blow a tire and flip. They pulled over safely and climbed it and helped pull the elderly couple inside to safety. Once the police and paramedics arrived, they left and got home close to midnight.

15th - Sharky and I attended a Yelp party at V's Pizza in San Marco. We had a great time sampling pizza and wings. Petunia didn't miss out on anything, she got her very own 2 serving box of Mama B's Mac & Cheese for dinner. LOL

17th - Petunia went with BB and family to Hawker's for dinner to celebrate OJO's graduation from boot camp.

18th - Petunia goes to see Star Wars with BB & Family.

19th - We got up early, packed a cooler in the trunk, and Petunia and I drove to Aldi's and then to Rowe's to get cheeses, etc., for Xmas Eve.

21st - No school for 2 weeks. Petunia goes to DW's house and they bake cookies.

22nd - Petunia goes bike riding and meets up with a couple of friends in 5 PTs.

24th - Christmas Eve - Both CD and BB stop by and exchange gifts with Petunia. Had a great night with our fancy cheese plate and movies.

25th - Had a lovely morning with a breakfast casserole and gifts. Went over to DW's house for dinner.

26th - All 3 of us went to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens at Sun-Ray Cinema. Loved it!

30th - Sharky's boss took him and his coworker to dinner at Cross Creek. They had a nice time. Petunia and I went to BB's house for a spaghetti dinner. We brought cookies again. LOL Once again, played CAH and had a great time. Petunia stayed the night.

31st - Petunia and BB's family went to Sun-Ray Cinema for the RHPS NYE showing. They had a great time. Sharky and I had a little dinner (cheese plate!) and watched some movies on Netflix. At 9 pm, he got a call from DW who was hit by teens running a red light. His truck was damaged and he was hurt. Sharky took him home after they were through with all the cops, etc.
