Sunday

Last Monday (the 3rd), Petunia and I took Tony to the vet's for his official heartworm appointment. We also got him flea meds and heartworm meds to be given that evening. It was still a pain in the ass, but not as bad as the time before. Appointments were made for actual treatment.

Tuesday, I met with Amy K who gave me her old plastic dog crate for us to use. I also swung by Pet Supermarket and bought a Kong for Tony.

Wednesday was Petunia's 10th grade orientation. It was extremely crowded, annoying and not much use, other than receiving her schedule. We were not aware that lockers were mandatory this year, so we didn't have money on us for a locker.

Thursday night, Petunia and I had a special "date" at a Yelp Elite event at the PDQ chicken place on Hodges. We had a lot of fun and the food was wonderful. Too bad they are so far away. Brought Sharky home a milkshake as a treat.

Friday, took Petunia to get her locker (see entry called "Asshole Parents").

Saturday was a lot of fun. Drove down to the Cracker Barrel in Palm Coast and met with my dad, his wife, and my Uncle Ray who was over visiting dad for his birthday. We had a lovely time.

This morning, Sharky went sailing and I went back to Winn-Dixie for groceries. Ugh.
