Sharky was able to leave earlier than expected yesterday, so he was home before dark. He was totally worn out from the trip. Petunia had a field trip yesterday, the school's annual "luau" at a local beach park. Even though it was a partial day, she was pretty exhausted when she got home. A little sunburned as well.

On Thursday, Bug & TBoo went to the OB/GYN for her 12 week appointment and got to see the baby for the first time. The baby is about the size of a lime and Bug said s/he was moving his/her arms around like karate. So cute.

Things are funny. Knowing I'm going to be a grandma soon doesn't make me feel old, so many of my friends are already grandparents that it seems normal. On the other hand, Petunia told me this morning that her fave teacher, Mr. A, will be 24 this summer. He's only 2 years older than Bear. Now that made me feel old.
