After packing up the truck, Bug took Sharky to a range and they had a lot of fun showing off. He dropped him off at home that afternoon, after having lunch together.

Made a faux Chicken Cordon Bleu last night. Used boneless/skinless chicken thighs, muenster cheese and ham, rolled in bread crumbs seasoned with Tony Chachare's and baked at 425F for 30 minutes. Turned out absolutely delicious. Had fresh zucchini, boiled/steamed quickly, on the side. Nice treat to have fresh veggies.

Petunia is at school and Sharky is at work. Collybear met Bug & TBoo (and Daisy dog too) at the car rental place where their rental car was dropped off and then he drove them back to our house. They all visited for a little bit.

I had Daisy stay inside with me so they could put their suitcases, etc., into the moving truck (which has been here the whole time). Daisy is a red pit bull terrier and is such a sweet girl. She was the runt of the litter and was very delicate (even at the age of 6 years old), but TBoo's parents have been stuffing her with human food so she's huge right now. Still very hyper. Once they get her up north, hopefully she'll slim down a bit to a healthier weight. She was very sweet and affectionate to me, sat with me on the couch and tried to climb into my lap.

Of course, Rosie was the first to see her and freaked out, ran into the boys' room. Lucie slunk away quietly and Rupert actually came out to see what was going on. He then ran back into the bedroom and now is giving me huge alien freak out eyes. *sigh* They'll get over it.

They all left by 9:15 am and it's back to being quiet.
