Thursday

Tuesday, I made a "15 bean soup" (Winn-Dixie brand) in the crockpot but it wasn't done by dinner. I kept it on low all night and it was done yesterday, so we ate it for dinner last night. I was rather disappointed in it, it was "beany" but bland, even with my addition of chopped ham. I was going to serve the leftovers for dinner tonight with rice, but found we were all out of rice. EEK. So, I'm using a Rice-a-Roni long grain/wild rice mix which is rather bland and should go alright with the beans. Not buying that brand again, will stick to the other one I tried previously that had more taste to it.

Petunia had a bad stomach ache after school yesterday and threw up most of the night, so we kept her home from school today. I slept most of the morning away, trying to get rid of my headache. Woke up with a horrible hangover-like headache and was miserable. Its still there, but lighter, so I can at least function a bit.

Sharky didn't feel well either, so he laid down and fell asleep. Going to have to wake him up for dinner soon. He wasn't able to go to the library for me today, but he'll have to tomorrow.
