Wednesday
Well, yesterday was a clusterfuck. *sigh* Petunia and I, after school, went over to Arlington to go to Michael's Craft Store and get a scrapbook for Bear (mom sent me a 40% off coupon for it). On the way up the Matthews Bridge, the temperature gauge started climbing, but went back down on the descent. Got to Michael's, did our shopping, then left. Petunia wanted Taco Bell, so we ran around to Atlantic/Southside and went into the drive-thru. As I was waiting, the gauge started climbing AGAIN, fast! I left the line and started driving and it dropped back down. Turns out, any time the car was standing still, it would climb. I took the shortest route home (Arlington Expressway, through downtown, to I-95) but still had stoplights to freak out over. I had Petunia call Bug (at his girlfriend's house) to warn him. Made it home safely. Bug agrees with me that the water is low and today, after school (it is Early Release for both of them), will help me check the levels and fill it up. The gauge did do it once before, last Sunday, but I thought it was because I was low on gas. I was wrong. *sigh*
Need to work on photos today - getting them burned onto cds, etc., and have some ordered so I can start working on Bear's scrapbook. I hope to have it done by the time he comes home on leave before his next duty station.
