Friday
I drove the car around Riverside yesterday morning and the temperature was doing fine, so I went ahead and drove to Volde-Mart. Did some errands, strained my right elbow trying to pick up heavy things (thank goodness I didn't strain my back much), and then my left hip went out. Ouch. *sigh* Was almost completely crippled by the time I got home. Ugh.
Petunia called from school, a bit before noon, complaining of a stomach ache - said she thought she might throw up. I told her to wait it out, go back to class and if she did throw up, then I would come and get her. Lucky I did because I got a call from Sharky a bit later, they were home early (lack of a certain material needed for job site) and I had to go pick him up.
Bug had PT after school and came home at a decent time. Sharky went to bed early and Bug tried to watch a new TV show with me ("Awake") but started falling asleep, so he went to bed. I hate it when they put a good show on at 10 p.m. when there is no need for it.
Petunia has a field trip today to a competition. Her class will be the youngest grade (6th), the others are 7th & 8th. I'm very excited for her. She won't be coming home until this evening though. Bug wants to go see "John Carter" at the movies with his friend Collin, if he gets off work early.
