Daylight Savings Day (Sunday)

Well, Sharky & I had our date night yesterday. We skipped the movies because all I wanted to see on the big screen that was playing, was John Carter and it opened yesterday and the crowds would have been horrible on a Saturday. So we went to Red Lobster. He had the "Surf & Turf" (rock lobster tail & steak) and I had the "Ultimate Feast" (fried shrimp, shrimp "scampi", a lobster tail, and a hand of crab). Started off with salad and those Cheddar Bay biscuits and two of their Grand Patron Margaritas (with a shot of Grande Marnier) - we were pretty darned satisfied by the end of the evening.  Topped it off by swinging by Dreamette in Murray Hill and got two dipped soft serve cones to go. Sharky had to lick the drippings off on the way, it was so funny.

Bug got home in time but we were already sacked out. I had a hard time sleeping, but then I couldn't stay awake either. Fixed the bedroom clock so we would wake up at the right time.

Sharky was supposed to be at his boss's house at noon, but the guy called yesterday and bumped it to 11 a.m. That sucks. Not only does Daylight Savings short us an hour, but he does as well. Sharky said not to take it personally, since they have to stop on the way to AL to pick up more parts for the job-site. I think the guy just wants to get the fuck out of his house with the nagging wife and 5 screaming children. (I could barely hear the guy on the phone when he called, it was so loud and obnoxious.) Sharky has told me the guys are the typical sort, always complaining about how much they hate their wives. Why do men do that? Really depressing.

Bug works today (he's already there) and Petunia spent the night at BB's house, should be home this afternoon. She's got homework (of course) and then it is back to the old grind again.

I mailed a postie to PVT Bear yesterday - I made it from an old WoW book, tore out a page with a dwarf hunter on it and glued it to the back of a stamped postcard. Covered it with contact paper to keep it safe. I hope he likes it! I've got to get his package done today so I can mail it to him tomorrow. The car is working fine now (*knock on wood*).
