Wednesday

Went to the USPS and mailed off Bear's package, along with the PCX postie and the regret postie for attending DV's (Sharky's niece’s) wedding. It would have been nice to attend her wedding but with Sharky's work schedule, it would be too difficult to do. Besides, its formal attire. Seriously. Alas...

Came home and stopped at Bakery Moderne and purchased 2 slices of peanut butter pie for our dessert and a little quiche for my breakfast. The quiche (swiss, ham, rosemary and onion?) was amazing and, while small, really the perfect size. The peanut butter pie was very good but I've had better. (I think the best was the one Sharky and I split when I was in Health Park delivering Bear - almost 20 years ago. LOL)

Before school was out, Petunia and her band teacher called. She was chosen, due to her good attitude and personal responsibility, to bring home a French horn to practice on. (I think parental responsibility played a part as well.) I am very proud of her. I went ahead and picked her up at school so we could bring it home. We ate our leftovers from the Chinese place for dinner and watched Glee's Valentine special.

Bug was supposed to take his girlfriend out to Olive Garden for Valentine's Day last night, but they changed their mind and went to Outback instead. (I told him that it was a better idea. LOL) They had a great dinner and I let him stay out to 11 because her birthday is today but he has to work and cannot spend any time with her this evening. He said she was all depressed about it, but gee whiz, you can't always get what you want. *sigh*

I had two nice emails from Sharky yesterday. OK, one nice and one naughty. LOL Threw me for a loop, been a long time since he has done that. It was very enjoyable.

After a long, hard search (seriously!), I finally found the perfect anniversary present for Sharky and purchased it last night. Got my fingers crossed it will arrive in time for our 20th. I'm very proud of the fact that it was one hell of a deal (freaking amazing) and the seller (on eBay) had not only a stellar record (14k+ sells with a 99.99% perfect rating) but he had free shipping as well. I would have been a fool to pass it by. No, I won't say what it is because Sharky might be reading this and I don't want him to have a clue! LOL *doing dance of joy*
