Monday

Sharky got the sink fixed yesterday (even installed a new faucet) and now that its fixed, the washer works! Woohoo. Yes I'm happy, very happy that everything is back to normal. Unfortunately, Sharky had to do a lot of hard, gross, disgusting things to fix it - primarily involving crawling under the house. I'm so grateful to him though.

Except the FIL situation. They called yesterday, while Sharky was under the sink. I checked on FB (even though I unfriended the FIL, all his stuff is public) and found that he had copied and pasted my response and added some even more hateful comments. Sharky just had a quick, boring convo with his dad and then got off the phone. Nothing was said. Sharky said he is going to call his dad this upcoming weekend and speak to him about his behavior and attitude towards me. Unfortunately, I don't think its going to work. If his religious beliefs are telling him to attack me, I don't know how his son will convince him to do otherwise.

Got a lot of stuff to do today...

"Books are the carriers of civilization. Without books, history is silent, literature dumb, science crippled, thought and speculation at a standstill."
