WG? Hit# 828, Centralia IL (Bear's field trip hit)

Stupid phone cable seems to be fried with all the brownouts we've been having. Sharky's going to check it out today. I sure hope its easily fixed. Sink backed up last night too. Oh well, better the sink than the toilet. I've been waiting for something to back up too, with all the JEA sewer trucks driving up and down the street. (Sharky just fixed it, yeah!)

Went to the store yesterday and did some grocery shopping but left some things off the list and wasn't fully prepared like I should have been. Did find some awesome deals on fresh fruit for my mom's birthday. Tired of traditional frosted birthday cake/cupcakes, etc., so I thought fruit on a simple pound cake with whipped cream would be nice. I asked her and she got all excited. Berries are usually so expensive, they haven't had fresh ones in a long time. I got blueberries, strawberries, blackberries and raspberries to mix up.

Boys got their report cards in the mail yesterday. Petunia got hers on the last day of school. Thank goodness all three passed and are promoted to the next grade. *phew* Have Petunia's doctor paperwork all ready for the next school year and the boys have their doctor checkups this coming week. Petunia does have to have an x-ray of her spine, the nurse practitioner said "Better safe than sorry" when she saw what she thought was a not-right curve to her spine. I sure hope its nothing serious. Most likely isn't, but I'm a worrier.
